Chefchaouen is one of the most beautiful Moroccan cities located near the city of Tangier. It was founded in 1471 by Mawlay Ali Ben Moosa Al-Sayyid Talbi Al-Alami. It is a Moroccan bastion for the inhabitants of Andalusia who returned from Spain. Most of the city’s inhabitants speak Spanish alongside Arabic, and other languages such as Amazigh and French. In spite of the randomness of its construction in addition to its narrow streets and alleys, Chefchaouen is still famous for its attractive blue colour houses.
