For more than five decades, this village, which was then called “Al Ghuraifa,” was bustling with life like other villages in the central region of Sharjah. At the end of the nineties of the last century, the people of this small village were forced to abandon their homes due to the difficult natural conditions they faced and turned the village into a station for desert dunes, which were constantly moved by air currents, which made life in it almost impossible, and it was previously inhabited by the tribe Bani katb.
